Terms of use

These terms cover your use of sendandreturnaudio.com and the free mix kit. By using the site or the kit, you agree to them.

Using the site

You're welcome to read, print and share links to anything on this site. Print the cheat sheets, keep them by your desk, and send a guide to a friend.

Please don't copy our guides, cheat sheets or images onto another site or into a product of your own, and don't present them as your own work. A short quote with a link back to the page is fine.

The guides are written to help you mix, and we check every fact and setting before we publish it. Even so, every track and every setup is different, so use the settings as a starting point and trust your ears.

Don't misuse the forms. Sending fake sign-ups, using someone else's email address, or trying to get around the bot check isn't allowed.

The free kit license

This is the license that comes in the kit download, word for word.

You may:

  • Use the racks, the template and the cheat sheet in your own music, including music you release, sell, stream, or make for clients. You never need to credit us, and there are no royalties.
  • Change, rename and re-save the racks and the template for your own use.

You may not:

  • Share, sell, upload or give away the kit files themselves (the .adg racks, the .als template or the PDFs), on their own or inside another pack, course or product, changed or unchanged.
  • Say you made the kit, or use our name to sell something.

The kit comes as it is, with no warranty. Always keep a backup of your projects.

No warranty

The site and the kit are provided as they are, without any warranty. We work hard to keep every guide accurate, but we can't promise that every setting suits every track, that the site is always available, or that the kit works with every future version of Live.

We aren't responsible for any loss of work or data from using the site or the kit. Save your projects often and keep backups, especially before you try new racks or settings on a project you care about.

Trademarks

Ableton and Live are trademarks of Ableton AG. We use these names only to describe the software our guides and racks are made for. Send & Return Audio is independent and not affiliated with Ableton, and nothing on this site is made, checked or endorsed by Ableton.
